I have put the rest of the seeds into the polytunnel under fleece. There’s beetroot, spinach and kale and we’ll see how they do.

There are two tiny cabbages and two small kale plants which survived aphid attack but growth seems to have stalled.

Tasks are more focussed on the house at the moment what with the weather being pretty poor.  We got the last big sycamore tree down and also a delivery of wood for the winter.

We also got to work on shifting dog roses to line the exterior fence area to the east. The only thing more deadly than barbed wire…. dog roses.
